Blog Carnival – Four Stone Hearth

The anthropology blogfest, Four Stone Hearth, is now up at John Hawks‘ weblog. A wide variety of submissions cover everything from cognitive archaeology and anthropological genetics to palaeoanthropology, prehistory and politics. I particularly enjoyed Julien Riel-Salvatore’s take on the implications of ‘Clean-toothed Neanderthals‘ at A Very Remote Period Indeed, and Tim Jones’ evocative description of the ‘Caves of Monte Castillo‘ at Remote Central. However, all are well worth a read.
